A fire caused by the occupant in a recently built apartment completely destroyed the internals & balcony doors.
Working in union with the original main contractor, BPM stripped the flat and re-built entirely including new M&E throughout.
The logistics of working in an occupied building, in an eight floor apartment proved challenging.
Where the replacement glazed doors were concerned, BPM had to coordinate a Sunday road closure, crane lift, abseilers and window fitters to achieve completion.

A defective valve on the mains supply of a second floor caused flooding in 3no apartments
BPM attended, wet vacuumed all areas and isolated electrical supplies.
De- humidifiers were placed in each and once dried out, BPM effected all internal repairs.
This involved complete replacement of engineered oak flooring throughout the lower floors of each apartment.

We were called in to assist by an external consultant due to issues with a district heating system serving over 100 flats.
Using our knowledge of these systems, we performed laboratory analysis of the LTHW closed water samples and quickly established insufficient flushing and chemical dosing.
BPM flushed, chemical cleaned and carried out a Biocide wash to the main parts of the system.
Once all levels were reaching acceptable parameters in accordance with BSRIA guidelines, the system was dosed with inhibitor/Biocide and re-tested.

A three-bedroom apartment with a floating floor was suffering movement and as such, floor tiles were cracking.
BPM assisted in packing the resident’s items for storage whilst works progressed.
The entire floor was lifted and at the request of the original main contractor, new underfloor heating installed in a ‘rapid set’ screed.
BPM re-instated and redecorated the apartment in readiness for the resident to move back in.

Woolwich Academy Barracks

BPM were called in by the main contractor when a recently refurbished house had dry rot throughout the ground floor.
We assumed full responsibility for the works, stripped out the boards and joists on the ground floor.
Once completed and after specialist timber treatment, BPM re-instated the ground floor on a very tight timeline for the residents to move back in prior to the Christmas period.
